# Your account

> Manage your personal login to VEXiON cards: your name, email, password, phone, and connected accounts.

Your **account** is your personal login to VEXiON cards. It is separate from your business settings and billing, changing something here affects only **how you sign in**, not your customers or your invoices.

Open it in two clicks:

**1. Open the user menu**

Click your **profile icon** at the **bottom-left** of the sidebar. A menu opens.

**2. Click your profile again**

At the **top of that menu**, click your **profile** (your photo, name, and email). Your account dialog opens.

>
> It is the **profile row at the very top** of the menu that opens this dialog. For admins, the **Account** item lower in the same menu opens your business [General settings](https://vexioncards.mintlify.site/knowledge-base/general-settings.md), which is a different thing.

The Account dialog

The dialog has two sections in the sidebar: **Profile** and **Security**.

## Profile

| Item | What you can do |
| - | - |
| **Profile** | Update your **name** and **profile photo**. Click **Update profile**. |
| **Email addresses** | See your email addresses (one is marked **Primary**). Click **Add email address** to add another and verify it; you can then make it primary or remove one. |
| **Phone numbers** | Click **Add phone number** to add and verify a phone number. |
| **Connected accounts** | The social logins linked to your account, for example **Google**. You can connect or remove them here. |

>
> If you signed up with **Google**, you might not have a password yet. Open **Security** and set one, so you can also sign in with your email and a password.

## Security

The **Security** section is where you manage how you sign in. It shows the sign-in options that are switched on for VEXiON cards, so what you see can differ from the list below:

* **Password**: set a password, or change the one you have (**Update password**).
* **Passkeys**: add a **passkey** so you can sign in without a password, using your device's fingerprint, Face ID, or PIN.
* **Two-step verification**: add a second step at sign-in for extra security.
* **Active devices**: see every device your account is signed in on (browser, location, and when it was last active), and **sign out** of any you do not recognise.
* **Delete account**: permanently delete your login.

The Security section

>
> **Delete account** deletes your login for good, and you can no longer sign in with it. VEXiON cards also deactivates the business record linked to your login. It does **not** cancel your business subscription, and it does **not** delete the cards, customers or transactions of the business. Billing keeps running until you cancel it. If you are the account owner, make sure another admin exists first. To close or pause the business, use [Cancelling](https://vexioncards.mintlify.site/knowledge-base/billing-cancelling.md) or the Danger Zone instead.

>
> Your account login is **not** the same as your **business billing details**. To change the company name, address, or tax details on your invoices, go to [Billing](https://vexioncards.mintlify.site/knowledge-base/billing-invoices.md), not here.
