While you build a card, the panel on the right is a live preview of this pass. Everything below is what that preview becomes on the customer’s phone.
What every pass has
Whatever the card type, the pass always shows:- Front: your background (image or colour) and logo as you designed them, the customer’s name, and the QR code staff scan at the till. (A redeemed coupon without a linked card and an expired gift card show no scannable code, since there is nothing left to scan.)
- Back (the ”…” on Apple Wallet, the card details on Google Wallet): the information from the card’s Card Information step and the customer’s own record:
- View profile (Apple Wallet: the first line on the back; Google Wallet: a button on the card). It opens the customer’s own profile. Cards issued through Bookio, BooqMe, Omega or Medlin do not have it.
- Company Name.
- A review link (shown as “⭐️ Rating ⭐️” on Apple Wallet; on Google Wallet it is a button on the card). It appears after the customer’s first in-store visit, only while the Feedback automatic message is on, and on Automatic it points at the review page of the store they joined at. Plus any business links you added (website, Instagram, Facebook).
- Customer Name, Customer Email, Date of Birth, and Card ID.
- If referrals are on: “How referrals work”, plus “Referred friends” and “Bonus earned”.
- Terms, if you added them.
- Last message: the most recent note or campaign message sent to this customer.
What each card type shows
On top of the shared fields above, each card type fills the front and back with its own numbers. Here is exactly what appears, by type.Stamp
Stamp
Front: Name, and Stamps of 10 (the current count). The number is your card’s own goal: a 5-stamp card says “Stamps of 5”.
Back: Stamps to reward (how many are left) and Available rewards (completed cards not yet redeemed).
Stamp, paid in advance
Stamp, paid in advance
Front: Name, and Remaining stamps (how many the customer can still use).
Back: Remaining stamps as “6 of 10”, and Valid for (the card text you wrote, for example “10 coffees”), when you wrote one.
Reward (products)
Reward (products)
Front: Name, Points, and a line at the top that says what the customer can do now: Next reward (how many points are still missing) or To choose (how many rewards are ready, for example “2 rewards”). A card with a single reward shows Reward: 🎁 Ready instead.
Back: Points, Next reward, Rewards (every reward with its point cost: 🎁 means the customer can take it now, ⏳ means not yet), and How it works.
Cashback
Cashback
Front: Credit in the top corner (the balance in euros, for example €5.01), Name, and Cashback (your rate, for example “3 %”).
Back: Credit in euros with the points in brackets, Your cashback (for example “3 % on every purchase”), and How it works. If a till counts points for you, the back also shows At the till: the points the cashier sees.
Cashback with levels
Cashback with levels
Front: Credit in the top corner, Name, and Cashback with the current level (for example “3 % • Silver”).
Back: Credit, Your cashback, To level Gold (5 %) (how much more the customer must spend), the full Cashback levels list with the spend each level needs, and How it works. With level retention on, also Level valid until with a date (not on the lowest level).
Discount
Discount
Front: Name, the current Discount (the % and the level name, for example “10 % • Gold”), and, in the top corner, Total spend: everything the customer has bought so far, in euros, once they have bought something.
Back: Your discount, To 15 % discount (Platinum) (how much more the customer must spend), Total spend, and the full Discounts list. With level retention on, also Level valid until with a date (not on the lowest level).
Employee card

Front: Name, the Discount (the %, with the level name only when you set more than one level), and, in the top corner, Remaining (how much of the monthly budget is left), unless you hid the budget.
Back: Monthly budget and Renews on, then the same breakdown as a normal discount card (total points, discount level, percentage, points to next level, tiers).
Gift card
Gift card
Front: Balance in the top corner, Name, and Valid until (the expiry date, if the card has one). An expired card shows Status: Expired instead of a balance.
Back: a Personal message and Gift from (the buyer’s name), when the gift card was bought as a present, plus the shared fields.

Back: Get (the reward) again, plus the shared fields.

Back: Membership status, Membership type, Valid until, Daily entries (used / limit, or “Unlimited”), Total usage, and Activated on.
It updates automatically
You never reissue a card. After every scan, the pass on the customer’s phone updates on its own: the new stamp count, points balance, or gift balance appears within moments. Apple Wallet refreshes it in the background; Google Wallet shows the fresh data. Any design change you make later reaches existing cardholders too. See editing a card.Notifications the customer receives
Most scans also send a short push notification to the customer’s phone (as well as updating the pass). Every message is automatic, you do not write any of them, and each is translated into the customer’s language, from ”⭐ +40 points • To choose: 2 rewards • Total: 490 points” to “Transaction reversed. You have 5 stamps.” See Automatic messages for the full list of what a customer sees for every action and card type, including reversals.Notifications appear only if the customer has notifications enabled for Wallet on their phone. The pass itself always updates regardless.
