A coupon is the simplest card at the till: a single-use voucher with one button. Left panel: the coupon status (Active or Redeemed), shown as a coloured tile on phones and as the top row on desktop, so staff can tell at a glance whether it can still be used. With it: Last visit and Member since. Desktop and landscape tablets also show a card preview. When you scan an unused coupon, the right panel shows the reward it grants (for example “Free coffee”) with a big Redeem button underneath.
A coupon on the scanner: the left panel shows the customer with an Active status, and the right panel shows the coupon reward in large text (Free pastry with any coffee) above a single Redeem coupon button.

Redeem

Tap Redeem. The coupon is marked used and cannot be redeemed again.
Redeeming a coupon is final, there is no undo. A coupon can only be used once.
If someone scans a coupon that has already been used, the status reads Redeemed and the right panel shows a confirmation with no button, so staff can see it has been claimed.
