How it works
- Customers earn points based on how much they spend (you set how many points per euro).
- They build up points over time across visits.
- They redeem points for rewards from a list you create (a free item, or a fixed or percentage discount).
- The card shows the customer what is ready: To choose (for example “2 rewards”) or Next reward with the points still missing.
Best for
- Retail, restaurants, and salons where purchase amounts vary.
- Businesses that want a rewards catalogue rather than plain money off.
Good to know: you control both the earn rate and the rewards list. If you would rather give money back than a catalogue, use the Cashback Card.
The Cashback Card works differently: customers earn credit in your currency instead of points. It has one rate, or levels where the rate grows with spending.
Create a reward card
1
Open the card creator
Go to Passes and click Create Card. On Choose Your Card Type, pick Reward Card and click Continue.
2
Settings
On the Point Settings step:
- Point Rules: how customers earn points, set as “for every X € spent, earn Y points”.
- Rewards: the list of what points can be redeemed for. Each reward has a name (for example “Free cappuccino”), the Points needed, and a Discount type: € (a fixed amount off), % (a percentage off), or Free. Use Add reward for more. A card can have up to 20 rewards. Points needed is at least 1, and a % reward is from 1 to 99.
- Referral Program (toggle): reward customers who refer new customers.
- Card Issuance Limit (toggle): cap how many cards can be issued.
- Starting bonus (toggle): give new customers some points when they sign up.

Card Design
On the Card Design step, choose how the card background looks:
- Design Mode: Auto-generated (an icon pattern with a frosted-glass effect) or Custom upload (your own background image).
- Auto-generated: pick a Pattern Style (Grid, Radial, Diagonal, or Scattered) and Choose Icons (one icon, optionally up to 3 for variety).
- Custom upload: upload a Background image (recommended 1125 x 432 px).
4
Card Appearance
On the Card Appearance step, upload images and set colours:
- Logo (recommended 480 x 150 px).
- Notification Icon shown in push notifications and the wallet app list (recommended 512 x 512 px), with a live preview.
- Card Colors: the colours used on the card, such as Text Color and Background Color.
5
Sign-up Form
On the Sign-up Form step, choose what customers fill in to get the card:
- Language: the languages the form is offered in (EN, SK, CS, DE).
- Active Fields: Email and First Name are always on the form and always required. Mark other fields required; drag to reorder.
- Available Fields you can add: Last Name, Phone, Date of Birth, and any custom fields you have created (or Create custom field).

Card Information
On the Card Information step, set the text and links on the card:
- Company Name: your business name.
- Business Links: your website, Instagram and Facebook. They appear on the back of the card.
- Review Link: choose Automatic (recommended: the Google review link of the store where each customer signed up), Custom link (one review page you choose, the same for every customer) or Off (no review link on the card). See Review link.
- Show terms of use: switch it on to display your terms and conditions on the back of the card, then type them into the box that appears.
- Loyalty programme rules: its own switch, separate from Show terms of use. Turn it on and paste the web address of your own programme rules. Customers see the link when they sign up, next to the VEXiON terms, and it does not replace them. The link is never on the card. If you paste an address without
https://, it is added for you. See Editing a card.
