- One level: one rate for everyone, for example 1 %.
- Two or more levels: the rate grows with total spend, for example Bronze 1 % from 0 €, Silver 3 % from 500 €, Gold 5 % from 2 000 €.
How it works
- The customer earns your cashback rate on every purchase. A 3 % rate on a 34,50 € purchase gives 1,04 € of credit. On a 850 Kč purchase it gives 25,50 Kč.
- The credit is always in your currency. Customers never see points.
- On the next purchase they use the credit as a discount.
- With levels, a customer moves up when their total spend reaches the next level.
- With level retention on, a customer who makes no purchase for the days you set drops one level. Their credit never changes.
Best for
- Businesses that want a simple “money back” message.
- Programs that reward the biggest spenders with a better rate (use levels).
Good to know: it is the easiest scheme to explain: spend now, get a little off next time.
Create a cashback card
1
Open the card creator
Go to Passes and click Create Card. On Choose Your Card Type, pick Cashback Card and click Continue.
2
Cashback settings
On the Cashback Settings step:
- Levels (switch): switch it off for one rate for everyone. Switch it on to set levels by total spend.
- Levels off: type the Cashback percentage customers get back from every purchase. A live example shows what that means, for example “Customer spends 20 € → 0,20 € credit”. The most is 30 %.
- Levels on: each level has a name (for example Bronze, Silver, Gold), the spend it starts at, and its cashback percentage. Add more levels as needed. A level can pay back up to 60 %. A summary shows the result, for example Bronze 1 % back, Silver 3 % back, Gold 5 % back.
- Level retention (levels on only): set the Demotion period, the number of days without a purchase before a customer drops one level (for example 365 days). See Level retention.
- Referral Program (toggle): reward customers who refer new customers. You set both rewards as credit in your currency, for example 1,00 € or 25 Kč.
- Card Issuance Limit (toggle): cap how many cards can be issued.
- Starting credit (toggle): give new customers credit in your currency the moment they sign up.

Card Design
On the Card Design step, choose how the card background looks:
- Design Mode: Auto-generated (an icon pattern with a frosted-glass effect) or Custom upload (your own background image).
- Auto-generated: pick a Pattern Style (Grid, Radial, Diagonal, or Scattered) and Choose Icons (one icon, optionally up to 3).
- Custom upload: upload a Background image (recommended 1125 x 432 px).
4

On the Card Appearance step: upload your Logo (480 x 150 px) and Notification Icon (512 x 512 px), and set the Card Colors (such as Text and Background). Click Continue.
5
Sign-up Form

Card Information
On the Card Information step, set the text and links on the card:
- Company Name: your business name.
- Business Links: your website, Instagram and Facebook. They appear on the back of the card.
- Review Link: choose Automatic (recommended: the Google review link of the store where each customer signed up), Custom link (one review page you choose, the same for every customer) or Off (no review link on the card). See Review link.
- Show terms of use: switch it on to display your terms and conditions on the back of the card, then type them into the box that appears.
- Loyalty programme rules: its own switch, separate from Show terms of use. Turn it on and paste the web address of your own programme rules. Customers see the link when they sign up, next to the VEXiON terms, and it does not replace them. The link is never on the card. If you paste an address without
https://, it is added for you. See Editing a card.

Review & Create
The Review step summarises everything. Then Save as Draft, or Create & Activate to make the card live.
What customers see
Everything is in your currency, on the card and in every message.
With levels, the back of the pass also lists the levels and how much more the customer must spend for the next one. See the customer’s wallet pass for all messages.
The card preview in the creator and the preview in the /start onboarding show the same credit on the front of the pass.
Redeeming credit
- At the scanner: type the amount of credit to use in your currency. See Cashback cards on the scanner.
- At a till (Dotykačka, Storyous, Papaya, OBERON): the till counts points with its own point value, and the customer still sees credit in your currency. See Dotykačka, Storyous, Papaya or OBERON.
Good to know
- Switch levels on later: each customer goes straight to the level their past purchases on this card earned. Nobody starts again from 0. The pass shows the new level a few minutes after you save.
- Switch levels off: everyone gets the one rate again and the pass shows no level. VEXiON keeps each customer’s level data, so if you switch levels on again, it counts their purchases again, including the ones made while levels were off.
- The type of a card stays as you created it. To change it, for example from a stamp card to a prepaid stamp card, create a new card.
- A Refer a friend reward and a starting credit are amounts of credit in your currency. See Refer a friend and Starting bonus.
- The Analytics tab for this card is described in Reward & Cashback Analytics.
