How it works
- The customer holds the card, and a percentage discount applies at checkout.
- With a single tier, it is a flat discount for everyone who holds the card.
- With multiple tiers, the discount grows as the customer’s total spend crosses each threshold.
- The card shows Discount with the % and the level (for example “10 % • Gold”) and Total spend, the total the customer has bought. Total spend counts the price before the discount, the same on the scanner and on every connected till. After each purchase the customer gets a message such as ”✅ Purchase €25.00 with 10% off • Total spend: €820”.
- Optional: with level retention on, a customer who makes no transaction for the days you set drops one tier. It is off by default.
Best for
- VIP and member discount schemes.
- Loyalty perks where the discount grows the more a customer spends over time.
Good to know: use one tier for a simple flat discount, or several to make loyalty pay off with a bigger discount.
For a staff perk that starts again each month, use the Employee Card instead.

On the Discount Settings step:
- Discount Tiers: set discount percentages for spending thresholds. Each tier has a Tier name (for example Bronze), a Min. spend (€) to reach it, and a Discount (%). Use Add tier for more, or keep a single tier for a flat discount.
- Level retention (switch, off by default): when it is on, set the Demotion period, the number of days without a transaction before a customer drops one tier. It works only with two or more tiers. See Level retention.
- Referral Program (toggle): reward customers who refer new customers.
- Card Issuance Limit (toggle): cap how many cards can be issued.
- Starting bonus (toggle): give new customers a head start when they sign up.

Card Information
On the Card Information step, set the text and links on the card:
- Company Name: your business name.
- Business Links: your website, Instagram and Facebook. They appear on the back of the card.
- Review Link: choose Automatic (recommended: the Google review link of the store where each customer signed up), Custom link (one review page you choose, the same for every customer) or Off (no review link on the card). See Review link.
- Show terms of use: switch it on to display your terms and conditions on the back of the card, then type them into the box that appears.
- Loyalty programme rules: its own switch, separate from Show terms of use. Turn it on and paste the web address of your own programme rules. Customers see the link when they sign up, next to the VEXiON terms, and it does not replace them. The link is never on the card. If you paste an address without
https://, it is added for you. See Editing a card.
